 | | Berlyn Continuous Filters have been produced for over thirty years. This experience is reflected in every filter that is built. Our system is superior to any product found in the market today. These filters operate in three different modes.1. The simplest mode is on a timer. The filter media is passed through at a predetermined rate.
2. Optionally, a pressure transducer is located upstream of the filter media. As the filter blinds with contaminants, the pressure increases and the rate of the filter travel is increased. Conversely, when the pressure drops, the rate of travel decreases.
3. The most sophisticated operation is controlled by monitoring the pressure differential on either side of the filter. Here, one pressure transducer is located upstream and one downstream of the filter media. The rate of filter trave is varied to keep the pressure differential within a predetermined range. This system can be tied into a PLC program.
