Pelletizer Dies

The Berlyn Pelletizing Die consists of three separate components: the adapter, the die body, and the faceplate. The adapter accomplishes the transition from a large flow area to a small flow area at the point where the material enters the die body. The die body itself becomes a manifold plenum, accumulating material and distributing it evenly to the orifices in the face plate. Passing through the faceplate, the plastic is then shaped by precision machined holes into uniform strands which will later be chopped by the pelletizer.
